I’m no chef, but I cook dinner almost every night. In order to keep it as simple as possible, I have a menu board in our kitchen and on it I write out as many dinners as I have complete ingredients for, and choose from those for the week. If anyone else has an opinion for a certain day, they are welcome to decide what we will have for dinner that night. This system allows me to really think about the details once every few days and know that I’m covered for the week. Some of the dinners are very quick, often one is a crock pot meal, and some take more time. It’s not rocket science, but it works for us.
