This haunting song perfectly describes some of the mystery of marriage: ‘I don’t love you, not always, but I always will’. It’s a great reminder to me that love is a verb, not a noun….a daily choosing.
Can you listen carefully to the words and relate to some part of it? ‘Your mouth is poison, your mouth is wine’, women, may we be reminded that we have the power to kill and the power to intoxicate with our words. ‘You think your dreams are the same as mine’, men, may you be big enough to make room for your bride’s dreams, not just your own.
