I can remember when I was single, dreading this question from family and friends. Obviously if you have to ask, it’s probably not great. When you’re in love, it shows. Simple as that. These days I have a different perspective of love life. How is your love of life? Are you living this life fully? It can be hard to know for sure, and a full love of life can look very different to different people, but as a follower of Jesus Christ, I must pay attention to the greatest commandment:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31
It looks like we are called to nurture three key relationships; with God, with each other and ourselves. When I apply this personally, it means that I need to guard my spiritual, relational and physical health, all three should be a daily priority. Ironically, these are the same three areas that can get the least of me whenever life gets hectic. I am trying to stay more aware of how I spend my time, so I can keep improving my love life!

What an awesome start for this blog. It is so easy to neglect any of the key three, especially the spiritual aspect when we get overwhelmed with the other two.
