I am not a morning person. I wish I could spring out of bed with a clear head and a smile on my face, but usually it takes me a while to even realize what day it is and what might be expected of me. After a cup or two of coffee, I’m in pretty good shape and ready to declare that it will be a good day. No matter what.
Life gets hard sometimes but the days keep coming. The way we perceive and receive each new offering of another day impacts the quality of the next 24 hours, for us and those around us. Let’s all make the best of it!
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it! Psalm 118:24
Hi Jen, I love reading your blog. Every time I read it it is so perfect for my life. I have Psalm 118 next to my bathroom sink so every morning that is my verse for my day. So, reading your post today made me smile. You always seem to know exactly what to say for the period of life I am in. Thank you for posting your blog and for the wisdom and truth you share with it.
Miss you tons. 💗
If you leave your house right now and I do too, we can meet somewhere in IA for lunch!! Thanks for your encouragement.
You know I’d be in the car in two seconds if I didn’t have to work.
Seriously though, would love to come and visit you sometime. Maybe this fall when the kids are back in school/college I could come down for a weekend. Enjoy this beautiful day that the Lord has made!
