People aren’t projects, they are people. Some are placed in front of us to learn something from us, I believe all are placed in front of us to teach us something.
God doesn’t call us to fix, perfect or even protect them. He calls us to love them. And that just might be enough.

It is important, and hard sometimes!
I have found that if I am struggling to “fix” or “save” someone, the problem is mine. Love is always the better choice, even when the other person is incapable of reciprocating. To love your neighbor often requires sacrifice, but comes with a greater reward.
